How it works
Born-digital PDFs and Office files take about 0.1 MB a page; scanned pages, older minute books and photos of signed documents take around 0.5 MB a page. Mining, real estate and engineering rooms often add large drawings, survey files or video, which you can add as gigabytes.
Vendors that price by page or by gigabyte charge for overages, so size the room before you sign. Flat-price plans with generous storage remove the question.

FAQ
How many documents does a typical Canadian deal room hold?
A practice sale can be a few hundred files; a mid-market M&A sale often 1,000 to 5,000; a CCAA sale process or a large carve-out can pass 20,000. The index, not the count, decides how easy it is to review.
Do minute books count as one document?
Upload them as one PDF per year or per register so reviewers can find resolutions quickly; the page count is what matters for page-priced plans.
What about video and CAD drawings?
Add them in the last field. Very large engineering files are sometimes shared through a separate secure transfer and only indexed in the room.
